Morgan County is located in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle, less than 100 miles northwest of the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area and 150 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is the westernmost of the three counties in the Panhandle, which includes Berkeley and Jefferson counties and which forms a wedge between Maryland to the north and Virginia to the south.
The county has an area of 230 square miles consisteing of 148,000 acres, with a population of roughly 17,000 people. There are two incorporated municipalities, the Town of Bath, which is included in the larger area of Berkeley Springs, and the Town of Paw Paw.

COMCAST SURVEY
The Morgan County Commission is in the process of renewing our Comcast Video Franchise agreement. Under the terms of that agreement, Comcast is committed to providing quality video service and prompt attention to the needs of its customers. Before entering into the agreement, the commission is inviting public input from February 16, 2012 through March 15, 2012.

In addition to the comment period, there will be a public hearing on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 1:30pm in the County Commission meeting room at 77 Fairfax St., Berkeley Springs, WV.
